Ben Roethlisberger shares thoughts on report of Le’Veon Bell’s return
The Pittsburgh Steelers could really use Le’Veon Bell, as they rank 28th in the NFL in total rushing yards and 27th in yards per rushing attempt heading into Week 5. One report this week indicated that help could be on the way within the next month, but Ben Roethlisberger is not ready to jump for joy.
During his weekly radio show on Tuesday, Roethlisberger was asked about the report that Bell plans to return during Pittsburgh’s Week 7 bye and play in Week 8. He said he has not spoken to the star running back and will believe it when he sees it.
Ben Roethlisberger asked on his radio show about report that Le’Veon Bell will arrive #Steelers bye week. Says, “I’ll be excited if and when he shows up.” No, he says, he hasn’t communicated w/ Bell himself.

Roethlisberger hasn’t really shared his feelings about Bell’s situation publicly, but we know at least some Steelers players seem disgusted with it. The team is currently 1-2-1 and needs to start winning some games, so there’s no question the absence of Bell has hurt in the early part of the year.
