Bills offer to pay fans to help clear snow at New Era Field
The Buffalo Bills need a whole lot of help clearing snow from New Era Field, so they’re turning to the public.
The team announced that Saturday, anyone 18 or older will receive $10 an hour to clear snow from the stadium until the job is done. Lunch and dinner will be provided, and anyone who shovels for at least four hours will be entitled to a free ticket to Sunday’s game against the Cleveland Browns, according to Zac Jackson of ProFootballTalk.
It’s no secret that Buffalo has a rough time with snow this time of year. After other snow removal efforts resulted in this disaster, perhaps a bunch of shovel-wielding fans will provide better results. There’s that free ticket, too, and considering who the Bills are playing, the fans probably have a good shot at witnessing a victory.
