Bills players threaten to confront Patriots again if they feel disrespected

Patriots Bills scuffle

The Buffalo Bills and New England Patriots got into a pregame scrap the last time they met, and Bills players warn it could happen again.

The scrum back on Oct. 2 started when Patriots quarterback Jacoby Brissett jogged through Buffalo’s warmup drills, which led to a scuffle that you can see here. Buffalo cornerback Nickell Robey-Coleman says that if the Patriots encroach on Buffalo’s sideline again, there will be a repeat.

“It’s gonna be the same reaction that they got last time,” Robey-Coleman said Wednesday, via Mike Rodak of ESPN. “There ain’t no other way around that situation, you know? Just respect each other’s sideline and move on.”

Cornerback Stephon Gilmore agreed.

“Of course,” Gilmore said. “We’re not gonna let nobody push us around. You know what I’m saying? We’re gonna play smart. We know them guys like to try to get under your skin and make you react a certain way. We’re gonna try to take it in between the lines and play good football.”

For what it’s worth, the Patriots haven’t forgotten the incident, either. It will be something to keep an eye on when the teams clash in Buffalo on Sunday.
