Report: Bills may target Tony Romo if they part ways with Tyrod Taylor

The Buffalo Bills may have an unsettled quarterback situation next season.

According to Ian Rapoport of NFL Media, the Bills will decide if they want to retain Tyrod Taylor when the season is over. The team has an option to pick up the rest of his rather expensive contract at season’s end, and if they don’t commit, they will look for other veteran options.

One of those options could be Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo. San Francisco’s Colin Kaepernick and Chicago’s Jay Cutler could also get a look.

It’s no guarantee that the Bills dump Taylor, though. He’s young and they want to see more from him, and they may yet choose to commit to him.

That said, a season that began with high hopes looks as though it is going to end without a playoff appearance once again. The quarterback position isn’t the only place the team may consider making a change.
