Bobby Wagner speaks against proposed NFL ban on field goal leaping
The NFL Competition Committee is reportedly likely to advance a proposal that would ban players from trying to leap over the defensive line on field goal and extra point attempts, much to the chagrin of at least one player.
Seattle Seahawks linebacker Bobby Wagner criticized the proposed ban, saying that he enjoys doing it — and he thinks the fans like it as well.

Interestingly, it was the NFLPA that originally pushed for the rule. It ultimately depends on how dangerous you think the practice is. One NFL coach was very vocal about his desire to get rid of the play, but Wagner clearly falls on the other side.
