Brandon Marshall Expects to Get Ejected During Monday Night Football

Brandon Marshall is drinking the crazy juice again. Unhappy with the way he’s played during the team’s 0-4 start to the season, the Dolphins receiver said he expects to get ejected during Miami’s Monday Night Football game.

“I’m going to have fun on Monday Night Football,” Marshall told reporters. “That’s all I can say. I think the past four games have been tough for me trying to control some things and, hey man, I’m just going to let it out. I don’t care if they have two or three cameras on me. I don’t care if I have penalties. It doesn’t matter. I’m going to let it all out.

“I don’t care what you guys write. I don’t care what the commentators say. I’m just going to play football. That’s what I’m best at. That’s when I play emotional. That’s when I play with passion, and you guys will see that on Monday Night Football. So I don’t know if it’s throwing a football 15 yards in the bleachers and getting a 15-yarder or punting the ball and getting thrown out of the game. But something’s going to happen. I’ll probably get kicked out after the second quarter.”

Marshall says he’s not joking, and coach Tony Sparano says Marshall may only be half kidding, though he’s confident Marshall will not do anything to hurt the team.

I understand what Marshall’s point is. He feels like he hasn’t been himself, so if he loosens up and acts crazy on the field, he’ll have more success. But if he’s planning to get ejected during the second quarter, he better have scored a few touchdowns first. If he hasn’t done that, then is he really helping the team?

And let’s just hope his idea of going crazy is more along the lines of this rather than this.
