Brandon Myers explains tweets ripping Giants teammates
On Sunday, the New York Giants suffered one of their worst losses of what has been an abysmal season. Eli Manning threw five interceptions — that’s right, five — in a 23-0 blowout at home against the Seattle Seahawks. After the game, tight end Brandon Myers vented some of his frustrations on Twitter.
Getting cussed out for encouraging ppl am telling them they did a good job is mind blowing.

If ppl on this team wanna take shots at me an say I have no passion they are mistaken. I give everything I have each an every week

From the sound of it, Myers was trying to keep spirits up during his team’s blowout loss. I’m just speculating, but one or more players may have not been in the mood for his positive attitude while they were getting dominated and watching their record dip to 5-9.
Myers later apologized for the rant, saying that he let his emotions get the best of him. On Monday, he insisted his angry tweets were not caused by a confrontation with a specific teammate.
“I’m just not good with words,” Myers said, via Ralph Vacchiano of the NY Daily News.
A little word of advice for Myers — if you’re not good with words, Twitter probably isn’t for you. That is especially true after another frustrating loss. Things can only get worse for New York over the final two weeks of the season.
