Report: Brock Osweiler wants to stay with Broncos despite Texans interest
While he hasn’t yet agreed to terms, Brock Osweiler reportedly wants to stay with the Denver Broncos.
A series of reports on Wednesday said that the free agent quarterback has very real interest from the Houston Texans, but Osweiler wants to stay with the Broncos.
The #Broncos have ramped up their efforts to keep QB Brock Osweiler and negotiations are ongoing. It's them or #Texans.

#Broncos Osweiler very much wants to stay. Houston push may not be enough. Denver should do a 2-yr deal and let him get back to market

Texans making good run at Osweiler, but as I've been saying, I don't see him leaving Broncos. Too good of a fit with Kubiak and Elway.

It sounds like there is a mutual desire between Osweiler and the Broncos to get something done sooner rather than later. Osweiler already had a pretty significant offer on the table from Denver. Denver has apparently been concerned enough about Houston’s overtures to formulate a backup plan if Osweiler leaves, but when there’s mutual interest, these things usually get done.
