Browns reportedly ‘actively shopping’ No. 2 pick
According to two separate reports on Tuesday, the Cleveland Browns have begun “actively shopping” the No. 2 pick in the NFL Draft.
Both Mary Kay Cabot of Cleveland.com and and Jeff Darlington of NFL Media reported Tuesday that the Browns have reached out to other teams in the top ten to assess the market and possibly trade down.
Nothing imminent here, but yes, GM Sashi Brown has initiated the calls to gauge market for his No. 2 pick. https://t.co/gBtqzx4OLY

According to Cabot, the Philadelphia Eagles are prominent in the discussions, as they were the runners-up to the Rams in the run for the top pick.
The Browns need a lot of help, and building through the draft is a priority. It sounds like they prefer Jared Goff, but if he goes first overall, the Browns have plenty of reason to trade out of the number two spot, acquire more picks, and build from there. As many as three teams could have interest in the No. 2 pick, Philadelphia included.
