Report: Browns may bring back Terrelle Pryor
The Cleveland Browns may bring back a familiar face next season to help bolster their offense.
According to Mary Kay Cabot of Cleveland.com, free agent wide receiver Terrelle Pryor “will be on the Browns’ radar” this offseason.
Cabot notes that Pryor never particularly wanted to leave Cleveland in the first place, and with his replacement Kenny Britt already out the door, the Browns would easily be able to accommodate him on the roster.
Pryor bet on himself by taking a one-year deal with the Washington Redskins, but that backfired spectacularly for him. He caught just 20 passes for 240 yards and a touchdown last season, which ended with him apologizing to fans for how things went. Perhaps a return to Cleveland could help him re-establish some of his lost value.
