Undrafted rookie Kevin Hogan, the Stanford product, replaced Kessler, becoming the sixth quarterback in seven games to play for the Browns.
This isn’t even the first time in 2016 that Kessler has been knocked out of a game. Last time it happened, the Browns had to get really creative with the quarterback position. At least this time they had a natural backup waiting in the wings.
