Watch: Browns fall victim to controversial refereeing again
For the second week in a row, the Cleveland Browns have found themselves on the wrong side of a controversial refereeing decision.
With 3:26 left in overtime and the ball at the Baltimore Ravens’ 39-yard-line, Cleveland elected to try to pick up a first down on 4th and 5 in a 9-9 tie. On the play, Cleveland receiver Jarvis Landry was flattened by Baltimore’s Brandon Carr while running his route as the pass was being thrown.

The play looked like a textbook case of illegal contact, but no call was made, with the referees deeming the pass uncatchable. That was little solace to Browns fans, at least one of whom was angry enough to throw a projectile on the field.
A beer bottle just landed 3 feet from me on the field. Crowd and #Browns sideline apoplectic about no-call after Jarvis Landry got flattened.

This was the second week in a row Cleveland was left fuming after an iffy call. Unlike last week, though, the Browns overcame it, eventually getting the ball back and kicking a game-winning field goal to beat the Ravens 12-9.
