Bruce Miller charged with 7 felonies, including using cane as deadly weapon

Former San Francisco 49ers tight end Bruce Miller was formally charged with seven felonies in court on Thursday, and the allegations against him continue to get more disturbing by the day.

The charges against Miller include one count of assault with a deadly weapon, and the weapon alleged is a cane. Miller was also charged with two counts of assault with force likely to cause great bodily injury, inflicting injury on an elder, battery with serious bodily injury, two counts of criminal threats and one count of misdemeanor battery.

Miller reportedly assaulted two men at a hotel, one of whom was 70. Surveillance footage (watch it here) later showed the 29-year-old looking bloody and disoriented.

Hours before he was arrested for assault, Miller was reportedly kicked out of a San Francisco restaurant for trying to fight a fellow patron over a sandwich. It’s no surprise the 49ers released him so promptly, and we wouldn’t be surprised if Miller’s days of playing in the NFL were over.
