Bryce Petty knocked out of game by huge hit from Dolphins
Bryce Petty was knocked out of Saturday night’s game against the Dolphins after being crushed on a sandwich hit from Ndamukong Suh and Cameron Wake.
The ball seemed to be snapped early on the fourth quarter play, as nobody on the Jets’ line moved. Suh and Wake ran the old “meet at the quarterback” play and crunched Petty.

Petty was examined and left the game.
The Jets announced that the second year quarterback was questionable to return after having the wind knocked out of him. Ryan Fitzpatrick took over and played the remainder of the game.
Jets legend Joe Namath put things in proper context when he was asked which QB should start for the team in Week 16:
With the way the OLine blocked tonight I don't think they should use a QB next week https://t.co/xrn0LRPtUP

Seeing a play like that where the offensive line barely blocked makes you wonder what happened. It also makes a report like this look awfully curious.
