Cam Newton had Twitter hacked because his password was ‘Camnewton1’
Carolina Panthers quarterback Cam Newton fell victim to Twitter hackers on Tuesday. And this wasn’t one of those instances where an athlete tweets something stupid and then pretends he was hacked. Do you really think Newton is dumb enough to tweet stuff like this?
@CameronNewton would NEVER! pic.twitter.com/96DTN83MXn

SB Nation has more of the funny tweets the hacker sent. Typically, I would have no idea how someone goes about hacking a Twitter account. Half the time I can’t even remember how to sign into my own account. But from the sound of it, Newton’s account wasn’t all that difficult to commandeer.
Lol that was ridiculous. I guess "Camnewton1" was a bad "password" choice?! Thanks again @twitter #backfromthehack

You mean the old full name and jersey number wasn’t the best idea? All other athletes take notice.
