Carson Wentz says he will not change style of play after injury
Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Carson Wentz isn’t going to change anything when he gets back on a football field.
Speaking for the first time publicly since tearing his ACL, Wentz said he hopes to be ready for the start of the 2018 season and isn’t going to tone down his aggressive, mobile style in the name of protecting himself from further injury.
Wentz spoke to reporters today for the first time since the injury. Said he tore the ACL and LCL, timetable is fluid, but he’s hopeful about Week 1. Won’t change his playing style. Wishes he was still playing, but is thrilled for Foles.

Wentz’s return date has reportedly been backed by doctors. Despite Nick Foles leading them to the Super Bowl, the Eagles will surely be eager to get their franchise quarterback under center again.
