Chris Baker celebrated fumble with loose ball on ground behind him (Video)
The Washington Redskins came into Sunday’s game against the St. Louis Rams with 12 forced fumbles (10 recovered). After Redskins linebacker Ryan Kerrigan caused another with a sack of Rams quarterback Shaun Hill, defensive tackle Chris Baker took the opportunity to revel in the play by his teammate.
Unfortunately, the ball had not yet been recovered. In fact, it was on the ground right behind the celebrating Baker. Tre Mason corralled the loose ball to allow the Rams to keep possession.
It’s been that kind of year for the Redskins. Even when things look like they’re going well, they really aren’t.
