CJ Anderson denies report that he told people he’s out for season
Denver Broncos running back C.J. Anderson is dealing with a knee injury, and one report claims it could be serious enough to keep him out for the rest of the season. Anderson says that report is premature.
On Thursday, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reported that Anderson has told people close to him he will not play again in 2016.
#Broncos RB CJ Anderson has told people close to him that he's done for the year, I am told. Awful.

Anderson says that report is “false” and that he will not know exactly what is going on with his knee until later in the day on Thursday.
The false report that people have is crazy we would know later today what's going on so please don't believe these false allegations

The disrespect for a damn story is unbelievable I'm disappointed in these people

Anderson later deleted the tweets and said he is staying off social media:
Tweets are deleted I will stay off social can't let ppl get to me

According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, an MRI already revealed that Anderson did not suffer a torn ACL.
Rapoport is one of the best NFL reporters in the industry, so he must have gotten that information from a reliable source. Plus, it should be noted that what initially looked like a minor injury for Anderson is expected to keep him out at least a few games, if not more.
We’ve already seen a seemingly minor injury turn into something much more with Geno Smith, and one New York Jets legend even had to apologize to the quarterback because of it. Broncos fans can only hope Anderson is not dealing with a similar situation.
