Colin Kaepernick’s girlfriend Nessa Diab refutes report about teams inquiring
Colin Kaepernick has supposedly received interest from at least three NFL teams since he became a free agent, but for some reason the quarterback knows nothing about it.
At least, that’s what his girlfriend is claiming.
Harry Edwards, a sociologist who has been an adviser to Kaepernick and the San Francisco 49ers, told Jarrett Bell of USA Today this week that three teams have contacted him asking about Kaepernick.
“They’ve asked, ‘Can he play? Does he want to play?’” Edwards said. “The last question I can’t answer. The first question, absolutely. If Kaep makes up his mind, he wouldn’t only go in and make a team, he’d put pressure on somebody to start.”
Kaepernick’s girlfriend, MTV personality Nessa Diab, is not buying what Edwards is selling.
What supposed "three" teams? If this was really from his "adviser" Colin would of known about it https://t.co/Pyc64B6o62

Edwards said he believes some teams are ignoring Kaepernick because of the 29-year-old’s commitment to social activism, which he calls hypocritical for a league that is comprised of mostly black players.
There was originally a belief that Kaepernick would be signed after the draft, and that could still happen. However, Kaep can’t feel good about some of the reports that have come out lately. We still think he’ll land a job eventually, but he may have to sign for the veteran minimum like Blaine Gabbert recently did.
