Tom Brady met with with Roger Goodell and NFL officials on Tuesday to appeal the four-game suspension that was handed down for his role in Deflategate. Whether Brady will be exonerated is, of course, yet to be seen. However, it sounds as though Brady represented himself well.

As Brady seeks to have his punishment reduced, there has been no shortage of support for him from around Massachusetts. That includes an area golf course.

Foxboro Country Club has changed the flags of all 18 holes to the No. 12 to show its backing for the Patriots quarterback.

“We feel that this is a miscarriage of justice, way too much penalty for not enough crime, and we wanted to show our support for our hometown team,” said Club Manager Matt Killilea, per ABC6.

While the rest of the AFC East is hoping the initial suspension stands, there is a chance Brady will be on the field for week 1. Whatever the result, both the Patriots and Brady would like to put this behind them as soon as possible. That said, the Deflategate jokes probably won’t be stopping anytime soon.
