Cowboys fear Lance Dunbar has torn ACL, MCL

Lance Dunbar Cowboys

The Dallas Cowboys continue to have an injury-filled season.

Already without Tony Romo and Dez Bryant, Dallas lost another offensive player to injury when Lance Dunbar left Sunday’s game against the New Orleans Saints with a knee injury. ESPN’s Todd Archer reports the team fears Dunbar has a torn ACL and MCL in his left knee.

“I don’t like it,” Cowboys owner Jerry Jones said after the game via the Fort Worth Star-Telegram. “It doesn’t sound good. They’ll go back and do more technical evaluation of it, but I don’t like the way it sounds.”

Dunbar rushed three times Sunday for 54 yards. He was tied for the team lead with 21 receptions and leads the team with 215 receiving yards. Dunbar also missed the last four games of the 2013 season with a knee injury.
