Dak Prescott dismisses chemistry issues with Dez Bryant
Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott has heard enough rumors that he lacks chemistry with wide receiver Dez Bryant.
Prescott told NBC Sports Radio’s The Newy Scruggs Show that he has no worries about his chemistry with Bryant, and that the two will continue to work to forge a better connection with each other.
“Me and Dez, we’re continuously growing,” Prescott said, via Kate Hairopoulos of SportsDay. “There’s no chemistry and all that – that is just talk. That’s cheap. Me and Dez have great chemistry, we’re great friends, so we’re good on the field and off the field. We’re just continuing to work. We’re two guys that want to be great and that’s in our blood and it aggravates us and annoys us more than anybody when we’re not connecting. …Me and him will figure it out.”
Bryant and Prescott have never quite clicked together, and the former All-Pro has seen his numbers fall a bit over the last two seasons. That has sparked rumors of chemistry issues. Some rumors indicate that Prescott and Bryant may not even get the chance to strengthen their relationship.
