Danny Trevathan’s Mother’s Day tweet was a little bit off
Somebody should probably tell Bears linebacker Danny Trevathan how this whole Mother’s Day thing actually works.
Trevathan attempted to wish all the moms out there a Happy Mother’s Day on Sunday with a heartfelt tweet. An admirable enough gesture…except perhaps for the execution.

To his credit though, Trevathan acknowledged his mistake and posted this follow-up tweet within an hour:

Greeting errors aside, the 26-year-old Trevathan stays winning at life either way having just inked a lucrative multi-year deal with Chicago over the offseason after winning Super Bowl 50 with the Broncos in February.
Still, I’m looking forward to all of the inevitable “Happy Mother’s Day!” wishes Trevathan is sure to receive from fans on his 27th birthday next March.
