Dante Fowler suffers torn ACL in practice, out for season (Video)
The Jacksonville Jaguars and Dante Fowler got a terrible break on Friday.
Fowler, the No. 3 overall pick in the draft, went down at practice with what appeared to be a major knee injury. The injury is said to be a torn ACL that will end the rookie’s season.
Though Fowler was rushing the passer on the play, his knee seemed to get awkwardly twisted/planted in the ground and it was almost a non-contact injury:

The Jaguars have not announced anything regarding the severity of the injury.
“Sometimes injuries happen in the game,” Jags coach Gus Bradley said. “It’s just hard for me to speculate. Any time a guy gets injured it’s not a pleasant thing. It’s not a good thing whatever the injury is. It can set him back a couple of days, a week, or whatever. Whatever it is we’ll deal with it and keep going.”
