Darrelle Revis reportedly spends last days in NYC partying in clubs

Darrelle-RevisDarrelle Revis is heading from The Big Apple to God’s waiting room. I’m sure there is plenty to do in the great city of Tampa Bay, but you’re probably more likely to come across a pair of a Mickey Mouse ears or a shuffleboard court than a trendy nightclub in most parts of Florida. So Revis is making the most of his last days in New York.

Revis, who was traded from the New York Jets to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers over the weekend, reportedly spent his final days in New York City club hopping and partying all night. According to the NY Post’s Page Six, Revis and some friends cheered for the Knicks on Saturday before raging into the wee hours of the morning.

After the game, Revis headed to Chelsea for a Sunset Saturday party at PH-D rooftop lounge. He was seen arriving at the Dream Downtown at about 6:15 p.m. with a crew of two guys and five gals in tow. ‘Revis’ group stayed for a few hours and hung with fans,’ a spy said. The player signed a six-year, $96 million contract to move to the Bucs, so he had more than enough to splurge on champagne.”

Revis clearly has hard feelings toward the Jets as he starts the next phase of his career, but it’s nice to hear he was hanging out with some fans. The members of Jet Nation have nothing to do with the business decisions made by the team. Woody Johnson and John Idzik may not deserve an expensive glass of champagne, but the fans who supported a team that repeatedly came up short sure do.
