Davante Adams being treated for concussion, MRI was reportedly ‘clean’
Green Bay Packers wide receiver Davante Adams took a vicious hit to the head during Thursday night’s win over the Chicago Bears, and he was still in the hospital as of Friday morning.
NFL spokesman Joe Lockhart revealed that Adams is being treated for a concussion, but Ian Rapoport of NFL Network heard good news about the 24-year-old’s MRI results.

Adams left Lambeau Field in an ambulance after Bears linebacker Danny Trevathan hit him helmet to helmet. Here’s a video of the play:

Trevathan, who is almost certain to face a fine and possibly a suspension, said he did not intend to hit Adams in the head and is praying the receiver is OK. One of Adams’ teammates clearly felt there was some intent, as he blasted Trevathan for the “disgusting” cheap shot.
