DeMarcus Ware to undergo surgery on fractured forearm, out 4-5 weeks
DeMarcus Ware’s injury isn’t a season-ender, but he will still be facing a multi-week absence.
According to a report by Adam Schefter of ESPN on Monday, Ware will undergo surgery on his fractured right forearm and is expected to be out for the next 4-5 weeks.

The nine-time Pro Bowler was hurt in Sunday’s 34-20 win over Indianapolis with what was officially termed an “ulnar fracture” to the forearm.
Ware is 34 years old and is in his 12th NFL season, so it’s a legitimate question as to how he might look after going under the knife. Still, the Broncos are off to a 2-0 start and, after facing the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 3, have a relatively easy next few opponents, going up against Tampa Bay, Atlanta, and San Diego. A Monday night game against the Houston Texans in Week 7 looks like it could be a realistic return date for the stud linebacker.
