It all began to change when Al Davis dismissed Mike Shanahan as coach and has gotten worse as Davis' mind and body have continued to deteriorate. Not only has the head coach of the Raiders been nothing more than a figurehead, but that once proud team has become the laughing stock of the NFL, both off the field and on. I feel badly for Kiffin and hope he winds up like Mike Shanahan, a successful coach with another team. As for Davis, he has lost all of my respect and I hope he either sells out or is carried out, since he will never voluntarily retire or relinquish partial control.
