Devon Still gets tattoo of Leah to mark one year anniversary of cancer diagnosis
It’s been almost one year since Devon Still learned of his daughter Leah’s cancer. To mark the anniversary of her diagnosis, the Bengals defensive tackle got the above pictured tattoo on his back.
Still shared the photo via his Instagram account along with the following caption:
“In a couple of days it’s going to be a year since my daughter was diagnosed with cancer so I decided to dedicate a back piece to her. Started with the portrait today and @danpricetattoo killed it! To be continued for the rest #LeahStrong”
It’s been an emotional year for the Still family as Leah was initially given a 50/50 chance of survival. She then underwent treatments and a scan in March revealed there was no active disease in her body. However, last week, Still provided an update indicating Leah suffered complications with a stem cell transplant.
In addition to the news, Still asked for prayers to go up for his daughter. They surely went up by the thousands, including by us here at LBS.
