Jerry Jones: Dez Bryant has not had MRI, should be ready for Week 4

Dez Bryant

Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant suffered a knee injury during Sunday’s win over the Chicago Bears, but it may not even be serious enough to require an MRI.

During his weekly appearance on 105.3 The Fan Tuesday, Cowboys owner Jerry Jones said he does not believe Bryant has undergone an MRI, despite reports that Dez was scheduled to have one Monday. Jones also hinted Bryant will be good to go for Week 4.

It’s somewhat surprising that the team hasn’t taken an MRI for precautionary reasons, but Bryant was able to return to Sunday’s game after suffering the injury. It probably isn’t that serious.

As we learned when he made these comments over the offseason, Bryant is willing to play through injuries. Even if he suffered some sort of minor sprain, our guess is he’ll be ready to face the San Francisco 49ers.
