New Orleans Saints receiver Dez Bryant is believed to have suffered a torn Achilles on Friday, and he’s reacting to the news.
ESPN’s Adam Schefter clarified that Bryant’s MRI is largely considered a formality, and he’ll be sidelined for eight months, with a chance of returning for training camp. That means he won’t get to play for the Saints this season after signing with them two days ago.

Bryant’s reaction was muted, referring to the injury as “the ultimate test.”

Bryant suffered the injury at practice, a brutal blow for him. Players have come back from this sort of injury before, but it’s a fair question whether Bryant will ever be the same.
