Report: Dolphins coach Adam Gase is ‘obsessed’ with Josh Rosen
Several reports have suggested that the Miami Dolphins have interest in Baker Mayfield, but a new report suggests that Josh Rosen may really be the quarterback they covet.
The Miami Herald’s Adam Beasley reported in an article on Wednesday that he was told by an informed source that Dolphins head coach Adam Gase is “obsessed with Josh Rosen.”
Gase did not meet with Rosen at the combine in February, but it’s possible that may have been so the team didn’t tip their intentions or desires.
The Dolphins have the No. 11 pick in the upcoming draft. Rosen — and Mayfield for that matter — are likely to be gone by the time the Dolphins are picking. So unless they are able to make a trade or some QB slips, neither player may end up on the team. The Herald has consistently reported that they would like to draft a quarterback in the first round. For what it’s worth, Mayfield has expressed interest in playing for the Dolphins.
