Dolphins have shown interest in Leon Hall, Antonio Cromartie

Antonio Cromartie

The Miami Dolphins need some help at cornerback, so it’s no surprise that they have shown interest in a pair of veteran free agents.

The Miami Herald’s Barry Jackson reports that the Dolphins have discussed Leon Hall and Antonio Cromartie.

Hall, 31, was a former first-round pick by the Bengals and spent his entire 9-year NFL career with the team. He has 26 career interceptions, but only four have come in the past three seasons. The Falcons and Giants have also shown interest in Hall. A previous report suggested the Dolphins would have more interest in signing Hall if his price came down.

Cromartie, 32, still has a lot of name recognition, but he is no longer the player he once was, which explains the lack of interest in him among teams. Cro has met with the Bills, which are coached by his former coach with the Jets, Rex Ryan. He has openly stated his desire to play for the Dallas Cowboys.
