Drew Rosenhaus: No deadline for decision on Rob Gronkowski’s future
Rob Gronkowski has yet to make a definitive decision on his future, and his agent Drew Rosenhaus wouldn’t put a timetable on one.
Via Mike Florio of ProFootballTalk, Rosenhaus told PFT Live on Friday that there is no timetable for Gronkowski to make a conclusive decision regarding whether he plans to continue his NFL career or retire.
Gronkowski floated the possibility of retirement after the Super Bowl, and we haven’t heard from him since. Neither, apparently, have the Patriots, who would definitely want a final decision from Gronkowski prior to the start of free agency on March 14.
While Gronk has yet to officially make a decision, the latest reporting has indicated that he’s likely leaning one particular way. We’ll see if and when we hear anything ahead of free agency.
