Eagles announce Carson Wentz will start Week 3
The Philadelphia Eagles looked like they were in need of a spark during their loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday, and help is officially on the way.
On Monday, the Eagles announced that Carson Wentz has been cleared for contact and will start in Week 3 against the Indianapolis Colts.

Everything we heard throughout the offseason about Wentz’s recovery from ACL surgery was positive, so it’s no surprise he only needed to miss two games. While Foles turned in a poor performance on Sunday, Philly would have been perfectly fine sticking with him as a starter if Wentz was anything less than 100 percent healthy.
