Earl Thomas: Jared Goff is ‘way better than last year’
Los Angeles Rams quarterback Jared Goff’s improvement has been tangible, at least according to those who face him.
Seattle Seahawks safety Earl Thomas — who picked Goff off in a 16-10 Seahawk victory — felt that the quarterback had markedly improved since the two teams met last season.
"Hats off to Goff, he's way better than last year. He even looked me off a few times"

Goff went 22-of-47 for 288 yards, with two interceptions and no touchdowns, so it wasn’t exactly an elite performance. Still, Thomas clearly saw something, which is a positive sign for a player who wasn’t even guaranteed a starting job a few months ago.
