Momentum for Earl Thomas trade to Cowboys reportedly has slowed
The momentum for a potential Earl Thomas to the Dallas Cowboys trade reportedly has slowed.
Cowboys insider Jean-Jacque Taylor of NBCDFW.com reported on Friday that the momentum towards such a trade has slowed and that the Cowboys do not feel Seattle is serious about dealing Thomas.
A source tells @BlueStarBlog @NBCDFWSports @NBCDFW that any momentum for Earl Thomas trade has slowed considerably. Cowboys don’t think Seattle is serious about making deal, so they’re content to move on

Taylor’s report makes plenty of sense. After all, it was Thomas who initially stoked the Cowboys rumors.
The 28-year-old safety was rumored to be considering a holdout but his reps say that is not the case. Thomas is set to earn $8.5 million in the upcoming season. Pete Carroll has said he expects Thomas to be in attendance for camp in July.
