Report: Eddie Lacy unlikely to play against Bears
The Green Bay Packers acquired Knile Davis in a trade with the Kansas City Chiefs on Tuesday, and that could have something to do with the ankle injury Eddie Lacy is dealing with.
Lacy suffered an ankle injury in Week 5 that he has been able to play through, but he appeared to aggravate it several times during Sunday’s loss to the Green Bay Packers. ESPN’s Ed Werder was told by a source that Lacy is unlikely to play on Thursday night against the Chicago Bears.

Veteran backup James Starks recently underwent knee surgery to repair a torn meniscus, so he is going to be out for at least a few more games. Davis may be the only option Green Bay has this week, unless they want to give this star wide receiver some snaps at running back. That is something the Packers have done in the past and may be forced to do again on Thursday.
