Eric Decker’s wife Jessie James defends husband against Jets ‘haters’
Eric Decker ran a fun little Twitter contest earlier this week that called for New York Jets fans to express how much they love their team using the hashtag #jetsdiehardfan. The problem is the Jets are 1-7, and most of their fans are disgusted at the moment.
As a result, Decker’s Jets Nation rallying cry resulted in some hilarious comments from people who are currently embarrassed to call themselves Jets fans. Decker kind of asked for it, but his wife Jessie James didn’t appreciate the negative feedback.
Mrs. Decker fired back at Jets fans before deactivating her Twitter account. The New York Post captured her tweets before they disappeared.
“You think he really cares what y’all think haters?” she wrote. “He’s laughing his ass allll the way home. … Life is pretty good here. Can’t complain.”
Jessie later tweeted that people are “so overdramatic” and that she loves Jets fans. In other words, someone informed her of how petty she sounded and told her it’s never a good idea to fire back at keyboard warriors.
And now she’s off Twitter altogether. Those of you who have seen how attractive Mrs. Decker is know that is bad news for all of us.
