Ezekiel Elliott has great plan if he gets fined for jumping in Salvation Army kettle
Ezekiel Elliott plans to make a sizable donation to the Salvation Army in the event that the NFL fines him for his unique touchdown celebration from Sunday night.
After he scored a rushing touchdown in the second quarter to put the Cowboys up 9-3 over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Elliott jumped into one of the Salvation Army kettles that Dallas has near its end zones during the holiday season. Because that was considered using a prop, he was flagged 15 yards for unsportsmanlike conduct. Will a fine be coming next?
If Elliott is fined, he plans to donate whatever amount the league fines him to the Salvation Army.
Ezekiel Elliott said he would match whatever the NFL fines him for his TD celebration in the kettle toward a donation to @SalvationArmyUS.

Cowboys owner Jerry Jones certainly supported Elliott’s celebration, as he threatened to take the case to the Supreme Court if the NFL fines the rookie.

While we’ve seen the NFL do some heartless things when it comes to fining players, we’re guessing they’ll just stick with the flag this time.
UPDATE: An NFL spokesman said Elliott will not be fined.
