Ezekiel Elliott reps reportedly say he will face no punishment for 2016 incident
Dallas Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott has been told he will not face any action from the NFL over a 2016 incident.
Clarence Hill of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram told PFT Live on Monday that Elliott has been told by his representatives that a league investigation will determine that there was no breach of the Personal Conduct Policy and he will not face repercussions, via Mike Florida of ProFootballTalk.
It’s noted that it’s not yet a closed case, and the league could still levy some sort of discipline with the investigation still open. Elliott’s reps simply have some reason to believe that won’t be happening.
Elliott is being investigated by the league over a domestic violence incident. He’s recently gotten himself in trouble again for an entirely different reason.
