Falcons RB Devonta Freeman reportedly ‘fine’
Atlanta Falcons running back Devonta Freeman suffered a knee injury during Thursday night’s game against the Philadelphia Eagles, but all indications are it’s not serious.
According to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, Freeman is “fine” and it doesn’t sound like he’ll miss much time, if any.
The #Falcons announced that S Keanu Neal is out for the season with a knee injury. He went down last night, it appeared minor, but he had an MRI just in case. Turned up a torn ACL. … Meanwhile, RB Devonta Freeman (knee) is fine, I’m told.

The benefit of the Thursday night opener for the Falcons is it gives Freeman nine days to recuperate ahead of their contest with the Seattle Seahawks. He was seen walking with a limp on the sideline, but he downplayed the significance of the injury after the game.
