Fan wears taped up Chris Sale jersey to game
Over the weekend, Chris Sale was at the center of what may end up being the strangest story of the MLB season because he decided to cut up throwback uniforms the White Sox were scheduled to wear during Saturday’s game. On Monday, a fan mocked the pitcher’s escapade at the game between the Cubs and White Sox.
Shortly after the news of what Sale had reportedly done made the rounds, the memes and jokes began to fly. One gentleman got in on the act by taking taking a Chris Sale jersey and strategically placing tape across the back.

That’s top notch work. He deserves all of the praise he surely received from anyone who lavished it upon him.
Sale was suspended five days by the organization for “destroying team equipment.” He will make his next start Thursday in the series finale against the Cubs.
