I’m sure you’ve heard all week about the jail sentences facing Andy Reid’s drug-dealing sons and how the family issues will effect Reid’s ability to coach the Eagles this weekend. Indeed it’s a good question, but it’s not an issue the LBS mind ponders. What stands out more to me was a point raised by Enrico at FanHouse and The 700 Level. When Garrett Reid went to jail, he smuggled in drugs ostensibly to deal. Just how did he smuggle said drugs in you ask?
Garrett Reid was sentenced to two to 23 months, and authorities said that he had smuggled 89 pills into jail by secreting them in his rectum.
Attention Columbian coke dealers: the bidding for a future mule starts at five grand. On the bright side, at least he’ll be loosened up for eight months in prison.
