Giants co-owner Steve Tisch downplays Odell Beckham controversies
One New York Giants co-owner sounds extremely concerned by Odell Beckham Jr.’s latest controversy, but the other is taking a far different approach.
Giants co-owner Steve Tisch said Monday that he isn’t concerned with Beckham’s recent video controversy and added that he doesn’t think Beckham has become too much to handle.
Giants co-owner Steve Tisch called reports of an Odell Beckham holdout “hypothetical.” In fact he said contract talks are underway, although in the very early stages.

Beckham recently appeared in a video that showed him with what may have been drugs, which has caused new controversy. There have also been reports that Beckham won’t play without a new contract, adding another distraction. Tisch’s co-owner, John Mara, sounded very different on Sunday when discussing Beckham’s future, so it remains to be seen how this is all resolved.
