Gisele Bundchen reportedly threatened Tom Brady with divorce
The rumors of marital issues between Tom Brady and Gisele Bundchen may turn out to be nothing but a bunch of hot air, but they are not going away.
A new report from US Weekly claims Brady and Gisele have been fighting constantly since Brady was slapped with a four-game suspension back in May for his alleged role in Deflategate. As we heard in previous gossip stories, Brady has been described as “irritable” while he continues to battle the NFL in court.
But the latest scuttlebutt takes it a step further, claiming that Bundchen has dropped the D-word.
Their spats have become so heated that Bundchen recently consulted with a divorce lawyer, says a Brady insider. “Tom thinks it’s only a threat,” says the insider. “But this is definitely a rough patch.”
Tom and Gisele are clearly still on speaking terms, as the 35-year-old supermodel was spotted in New York City with Brady on Monday after his latest Deflategate hearing. One US Weekly source says we shouldn’t read anything into that.
“Things are very tense right now,” the source reportedly said. “This could be the end of them.”
We doubt these are the happiest times in the Brady household, as the New England Patriots quarterback has had to juggle football, family and court throughout the entire offseason. This isn’t the first we have heard about Deflategate supposedly putting a strain on Brady’s marriage to Gisele, but there have also been reasons to believe that the rumors are off base.
Perhaps a win in court — and continuing to laugh at settlement offers like this — would help ease some of the alleged tension between Brady and his lady.
