Golden Tate fancy footwork helps Lions win in overtime (Video)
The Detroit Lions picked up a huge comeback win in Minnesota on Sunday, and they had Golden Tate’s swift footwork to thank.
On the first drive of overtime, the Lions drove into the Viking half of the field. Matthew Stafford found Tate at the 15 yard line. He somehow managed to stay in bounds on a full turn, make three defenders miss, and flip his way into the end zone for the game-winning touchdown.
Tate’s touchdown lifted the Lions to 5-4 headed into their bye week. It was also the third straight defeat for Minnesota after a 5-0 start, and it seems like there’s a bit of turmoil happening right now.
