Golden Tate taunts Rams defense by waving on touchdown (Video)
Golden Tate upset many people by doing a disrespectful taunt in the third quarter on Monday night after scoring on an 80-yard touchdown pass from Russell Wilson to put the Seattle Seahawks up 14-6 on the St. Louis Rams.
After catching the bomb from Wilson, Tate raised his left arm in celebration and then began waving at safety Rodney McLeod, who was chasing him.
Was it a dick move by Tate? Absolutely. But there’s not much you can do about it after your defense has already been burned. The only way to get back at Tate would be by winning the game, which they failed to do despite having great chances at the end.
UPDATE: After the game, Tate apologized.
“I have to represent this team better, act like I’ve been there before.”
