Jameel McClain blasts Rams over targeting of Odell Beckham Jr
In addition to a 37-27 victory over the Rams on Sunday, atleast one Giants player left St. Louis with some hostility towards the team they defeated.
Late in the second quarter, a hit out of bounds and shove by Rams linebacker Alec Ogletree on Odell Beckham Jr. sparked a brawl that resulted in the ejection of three players. Ogletree was flagged for unsportsmanlike conduct.
After the game, Giants linebacker Jameel McClain wasn’t shy about his feelings towards the Rams. He went as far as to say the Rams suck as an organization.
McClain coming off field: " That dirty —- don't make you tough! G– damn that's a dirty-a– team!"

Prior to the fight, Rams safety T.J. McDonald was flagged for taunting after getting in Beckham’s face. In the first quarter, Beckham received his own taunting penalty after scoring a touchdown and spinning the ball towards the feet of an opponent.
The Giants have a budding star in Odell Beckham Jr. and it’s not at all surprising that McClain has his back. The hit out of bounds was certainly late and the push at the end was completely unnecessary. That said, it will be interesting to see what type of response (if any) there are from any members of the Rams to McClain’s comments.
