Jared Odrick after Dolphins’ win over Bills: ‘My ass feels fine’

Jared-Odrick

Last Sunday, Buffalo Bills cornerback Leodis McKelvin predicted that his team was going to “beat that ass” when they faced the Miami Dolphins on Thursday night. If “beat that ass” meant lose an important divisional game by 13 points, McKelvin was right.

Dolphins defensive tackle Jared Odrick said after the game that there was nothing wrong with his backside.

“My ass feels fine,” Odrick said with a laugh, via ESPN.com’s James Walker. “So, I’m not sure what was supposed to happen. But my ass does feel fine. You never want to give another team bulletin-board material. You really don’t.”

Safety Jimmy Wilson said McKelvin’s trash talk didn’t faze the Dolphins.

“That type of stuff doesn’t bother our team,” Wilson said. “Guys talk trash all the time. Until we prove we are one of the best teams in the NFL and continue to go out every week and handle our business on defense and offense and special teams, that’s the only way you shut guys up.”

In addition to McKelvin’s trash talk looking bad, the Bills now have little chance of making the playoffs. They needed to show up big and failed to come through.
